The BCCI's cricket advisory committee, appointed to pick the India head coach, will make their final choice and forward it to honorary secretary Ajay Shirke on Friday.
The three-member committee comprising Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman met today to deliberate further on the options and possibilities based on the presentations made by the applicants.
After detailed deliberations it was decided that they would further go through the finer details before submitting their report to secretary on 24th June.
Last week, the sport's governing body had shortlisted 21 candidates out of 57 applicants for the post of Head coach of the Indian team after they met the primary criteria specified by the BCCI.
Former India captain Anil Kumble and former team director Ravi Shastri were among the most high-profile candidates who were interviewed on Tuesday.
