Quiz master of 'It's Academic', Mac McGarry, has passed away at the age of 87.
He hosted the longest running morning quiz show for high school students from its inception in 1961, before he stepped down in 2011, the New York Daily News reported.
McGarry, who lived in Potomac, Md., had asked over 200,000 questions to thousands of students in his career as a quizmaster.
