Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Friday lashed out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) saying it fails to see corruption in its own-ruled states.

Addressing people in Bellary district in Karnataka Gandhi said BJP was misleading the nation.

"Leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are touring the entire nation and talking about corruption. But in Karnataka they do not see corrupt practices of their own government. They do not see Yeddyurappa (former Karnataka CM, Bookanakere Siddalingappa Yeddyurappa), who went to jail. They ignored it but they talk about corruption in the entire country," said Gandhi.

During his rally, Gandhi took a dig at prime ministerial candidate of BJP, Narendra Modi, saying the BJP wanted to make one person guard of the nation, whereas Congress party wanted to make everyone guards of the country.

"Congress party always tries to talk about development of people, including people from minorities, tribal and people from all religions. We move forward with everyone," Gandhi also said.
