Continuing his barbs against Prime Minister Narendra Modi for running a "suit-boot ki sarkar", Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Friday took an opportunity to pull-up the ruling dispensation over the currency ban issue and said that not a single "suit-boot" person is standing in line and only 'aam aadmi' (normal people) have been languishing to exchange the currency notes.

Rahul, who arrived in Parliament Street to stand in-line with the people, waited for his turn to withdraw money from the bank.

He accused the Prime Minister of being apathetic to the people's woes who have been standing in serpentine queues since morning.

"I am here to stand with them, my people are suffering. Are you seeing any "suit-boot" person standing in line, these are just ordinary people, but Prime Minister Modi remains indifferent to the plight of people," Rahul told reporters here.
