The Delhi High Court on Wednesday quashed a lower court's order, which directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to release the documents seized from the office of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's Principal Secretary Rajendra Kumar.
The CBI had moved the Delhi High Court challenging a Special Judge's order, asking it to return the documents seized during a raid at Rajendra Kumar's office in the Delhi Secretariat recently.
The CBI had raided the Delhi Secretariat on December 15 last year, while investigating the corruption charges against senior bureaucrat. As per the FIR, Kumar and other public servants had provided favours to some private firms.
