Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday denied reports of a rift within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), adding that the party stands united ahead of the upcoming assembly polls in Delhi.
"There is no crisis within the BJP. The party will work in unity for the upcoming polls. If any member has an issue with anything, they come to us and we sort it out. There is no need to make a big issue out of small things," said Singh.
Meanwhile, the BJP's Delhi unit chief Satish Upadhyay expressed in confidence in the party's chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi's victory in the Delhi elections.
Earlier in the day, Bedi filed her nomination from the Krishna Nagar constituency. The scrutiny of nominations will take place on January 22, while the last date for the withdrawal of nominations is January 24.
The single-phased polling in the national capital will take place on February 7, with the counting of votes scheduled for February 10.
