Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday said the international community needs to tackle terrorism unitedly, as it is a challenge for the entire community.
"Terrorism is a challenge for the entire international community and there is a need to tackle this unitedly," he told the media here on the sidelines of the international conference on counter-terrorism in Jaipur.
Speaking at the conference earlier, the Home Minister said that India has been a victim of cross border terrorism for several decades. He claimed Pakistan's attempt to differentiate between good and bad terrorists has also failed miserably.
"Pakistan should seriously rethink its strategy of using terrorism as an 'instrument of proxy war' and it would be in her own national interest. Pakistan and its associates find it difficult to understand that there are no good terrorists and bad terrorists," he said.
Singh further said the security situation in South Asia can improve significantly provided the ISI and the Pakistan Army stop supporting certain terror outfits.
Expressing concern over the use of technology and cyberspace by terrorists in a destructive manner, Singh said that international co-operation between the law enforcement agencies is essential to bring the terrorists to justice.
