Reacting to Shivsena Party President Uddhav Thackeray's remark on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, in which he compared him with item girl Rakhi Sawant in a Saamna editorial, Sawant on Friday said that if Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, could become a Chief Minister by selling tea, even she could become the same by dancing.
"I want to thank Uddhav Thackeray for thinking an item girl like me is more sensible than Arvind Kejriwal, and if Modi can become a CM by selling tea, a girl like me who dances for item songs can become a CM too," said Rakhi Sawant.
She further said that she felt that Kejriwal was like an item boy.
"I feel Arvind Kejriwal as an item-boy. He is moving from his seat to streets, and creating such a drama as well as blackmailing the Congress," she said.
"If I were to sing a song for Arvind Kejriwal, it would be "Babuji zara dheere chalo, " she added.
She further said that she was upset about her name being used in politics.

"I feel sad that my name is being used so often in politics. Even Digvijay Singh had tried to compare me with Kejriwal. I am honest a performer and entertainer and I don't want to be associated with politics; neither do I want to join any party,' said Sawant.
She also said that she disapproved Kejriwal's way of governing and was proud of Thackeray.
"Arvind Kejriwal uses Anna, and people. He abuses leaders and police officers, which I personally feel to be extremely offensive as even my father is a police officer," said Sawant.
"But I am very proud of Uddhav Thackeray. A Marathi brother wouldn't think bad for his Marathi sister. Also, he never abuses people unlike Arvind Kejriwal. He does not speak much but whenever he speaks he talks sense," she added.
Uddhav has claimed that Rakhi Sawant would have been a better administrator than Kejriwal, and those who criticised her should now felicitate Sawant.
He had further stated that if this is what the AAP culture is, then they should agree that they want to create anarchy in the country and that there are anti national elements behind it.
