Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on Saturday inaugurated three Kendriya Vidyalayas and 11 Navodaya schools in Raipur.

He also used the occasion to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his programs and schemes.

While addressing the gathering, Singh said, "The Kendriya Vidyalaya will benefit those residing in Sectors 27 and 28 and also those residing in the nearby areas. The admissions for the academic year 2017-18 for the Classes -1 to V had been completed. There are 40 seats in each class at present. About 1,600 applications had been received for admissions.
