Football rapist Ched Evans is reportedly writing a book, which the Wales striker plans to publish once he is cleared.

Evans began penning his autobiography when he was jailed for five years for the hotel room rape of a 19-year-old girl. He believes that his fall from football star to convict would be a best seller, but only if he wins an appeal to overturn his conviction.

It was revealed as TV duo Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan confirmed they have made a formal complaint to police over rape threats against daugher Chloe, The Daily Star reported.

Chloe became a target for sick web trolls after her mother Judy branded Evans' sex crime as non-violent. Richard and Judy said that they handed over a dossier containing a substantial amount of evidence to police.

A source close to Evans, who hopes to be re-signed by Sheffield United following his release halfway through his sentence, revealed that the striker reckons his story would make a very powerful book.

The source revealed that the court case, conviction, being sent down and how his girlfriend has stuck by him is explosive material, but added that the striker realises that the book would only work if he is eventually cleared.

As a convicted prisoner Evans was free to write his autobiography but would not be able to profit from the sales, nor would any relatives or friends. However, the striker would be able to donate the proceeds to a recognised charity.
