Rare pictures of late Marilyn Monroe's are set to be auctioned and are expected to pocket some good amount.
Heritage New York has been signed to auction the six photos that were taken by photographer and the vintage actress' friend George Barris on the beach in July of 1962 a few weeks before her death.
Rachel Peart, director of photographs at Heritage New York told the Huffington Post that some of the photographs are vintage, as they were printed within 5 years of the negative, and others were printed years later.
The auction is set to run from March 10th to 15th, and the starting price for the photos begins around a thousand dollars for some and continues upwards to nearly 10 thousand for others.
The 'Some Like It Hot' actress was found dead in her home on August 5th 1962 of a drug overdose, and was reported as a probable suicide, but several theorists suggested it to be a murder.
Notably another set of Monroe's moments will be auctioned alongside Barris'.
