Re-polling is underway in six booths spread over five assembly segments in Madhya Pradesh amid tight security.
Voting started at 8 a.m. this morning and will end at 5 p.m.
These booths are Bahrara in the Sumawali assembly segment, Baikunthpur in Sirmour constituency, Barauda in Panagar seat and Dushehra Maidan in the Ujjain South segment. Repolling is also being held at Chaurai and Ikmili booths in Lahar seat.
Elaborate security arrangements have been made at Bahrara, Ikmili and Chaurai polling booths where violent incidents were reported during the polling on November 25.
The counting of votes for the assembly elections will take place on December 8.
