Real Madrid produced another clinical performance on Wednesday night as Carlo Ancelotti's side claimed a convincing 3-0 win over Almeria to close gap on La Liga leaders Barcelona.
Columbian midfielder James Rodriguez broke the stalemate with a stunning volley in the 44th minute before Almeria's Mauro Dos Santos own goal and Alvaro Arbeloa's late strike fired the home side to victory, the BBC reported.
With the win, second-placed Real have reduced Barca's lead at the top of the table to two points.
