Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly revealed that their midfielder Xabi Alonso is likely to pen a new contract with the Spanish side.
Premier League sides, especially Liverpool, have been rumoured to be keeping an eye on contract developments of the midfield ace, who was a former member of the Anfield side.
According to Metro.co.uk, Ancelotti said that he expected an agreement to be reached between the club and Alonso, whose current deal expires at the end of the season.
Real has recently won 1-0 in a friendly with French 'moneybags' Paris Saint Germain in Doha, the report added.
