World Wrestling Entertainment legend Chyna passed away on April 20 at the age of 45 and details surrounding her death are still not clear.

Reportedly, the late WWE star was prescribed various medications prior to her untimely death, reports E! Online.

The coroner's office is however investigating all aspects of the time and cause of death

According to her manager, Anthony Anzaldo, the late wrestling icon, born Joanie Laurer, was taking prescription drugs, including sleeping medication and medication for anxiety, which were of course legally prescribed by a doctor and pharmacists.

An official statement was released on her Twitter account that read, "It is with deep sadness to inform you today that we lost a true icon, a real life superhero. Joanie Laurer, AKA Chyna, the 9th Wonder of the World has passed away. She will live forever in the memories of her millions of fans and all of us that loved her."

Anzaldo even informed that Chyna was having an "emotional journey" for past few months as she was shooting her documentary and at times it was stressful.

"But she was doing OK. She was doing yoga and a lot of amazing things," he added.

A memorial will be planned in Los Angeles, but the date is yet to be determined which will be open to family, friends and fans.

Chyna rose to fame in the professional world of wrestling back in 1997 where she was famously dubbed the Ninth Wonder of the World in the World Wrestling Foundation.

She went on to star in VH1's 'The Surreal Life' as well as several other famous reality shows.
