Formula One champions Red Bull saw their hopes of getting their 2014 preparations back on track crash down after their first day's running in the Bahrain test ran into more troubles.
Although Red Bull's racer Daniel Ricciardo managed to get his team's fastest time at Bahrain earlier this winter, but was consigned to the garage for most of the rest of the day.
According to the BBC, Ricciardo finished 2.6 seconds adrift of Force India's pace-setter Sergio Perez at seventh position, despite going out late.
The report also added that Renault, one of the suppliers, was the root of most of the problems of Red Bull, Lotus, Toro Rosso and Caterham's troubled pre-season.
Red bull has reportedly performed only 176 laps in the nine days so far, over their entire pre-season testing programme.
