Red-Bull has recently been ordered to pay up 13 million dollars over false advertising US lawsuit as apparently their slogan 'it gives you wings' isn't true.
Austrian manufacturer agreed to pay out to anyone who drank Red Bull in America in the last 12 years and they don't even have to need a proof of purchase, the Mirror reported.
However, the energy drink giant, who admitted to no wrongdoing, has only agreed to fork out 10 dollars cash or 15 dollars worth of Red Bull products per person up to the cap of 13 million dollars.
The false ad lawsuit was kicked off in 2013 by a US consumer, Benjamin Careathers, who claimed the slogan clearly doesn't mean the drink would give you wings but it was generally accepted the drink should give a higher energy boost than an average cup of coffee.
The firm has agreed to amend future marketing campaigns.
