RedGirraffe.com, a Fintech and Real Estate technology company, recently announced the launch of 'RentPay', a product which enables cashless rental transactions between landlords and tenants through credit cards.
Few of the banks and Credit Card companies in India that are going live with the platform are SBI-GE Cards, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
With this timely move in the country, which is amidst the obscurity brought about by demonetisation, RedGirraffe.com has become the first and only company globally to enable residential and commercial monthly rental payments to be transacted on credit.
A tenant living in India can now pay his rent through RentPay platform, which will go live this week.
Manoj Nair, Founder and CEO of RedGirraffe.com, expressed his enthusiasm about the launch, commenting, "We are pleased to launch RentPay (patent pending) in India; the only FinTech platform globally that enables rental payments to be made through credit cards."
"It's a no brainer due to the various advantages that one gains by merely moving the rental payment from their mundane monthly savings bank transfer to a much efficient and rewarding Credit Card enabled transfer," he added.
A 'RentPay' user can avail 45-60 days of free credit period and reward points. They can additionally enjoy discount offers forwarded by partner banks from time to time to such customers using the 'RentPay' platform.
