Renowned cartoon voice star Christine Cavanaugh dies aged 51

Christine Cavanaugh, the legendary voice star who had lent her voice to 'Babe' the pig and Dexter from 'Dexter's Laboratory,' has died. She was 51.

The voice actress, who was known for voicing numerous major cartoons, took her last breath on December 22nd, and the details regarding her death are still not revealed, TMZ.com reported.

She had voiced characters including Chuckie the red-headed baby from 'Rugrats,' characters from 'Darkwing Duck,' 'Aladdin,' 'The Critic,' 'The Powerpuff Girls' and 'The Wild Thornberrys.'

Cavanaugh took retirement in 2001, after which her character in 'Rugrats' was replaced by Nancy Cartwright, the famous voice behind Bart Simpson.
