In just a month, Americans' approval of the Republican Party has dropped to an all-time low, a new poll has found.
According to the Gallup Poll, conducted in the early days of the government shutdown, Republicans approval has dropped 10 points, from 38 to 28 percent.
The poll found that the Republican Party is now viewed favorably by only 28 percent of Americans.
The new poll suggests Americans are mostly holding Republicans responsible for the partial government shutdown, the Christian Science Monitor reports.
Nearly 63 percent said it's the GOP's fault, half put the blame on President Barack Obama and the Democrats.
