Retired Dutch footballer, Ruud van Nistelrooy, has started training hard to get signed by anyone following EA Sports offer to sign the ex- Real Madrid legend to Xbox gamers in an online competition.
Nistelrooy, who has been retired for two years, has become part of the 42 Fifa Ultimate Team Legends in Fifa 14 for Xbox gamers, which allows gamers to buy and sell players on a virtual market but with Play Like A Legend.
According to the Metro, the former Holland striker is back to training as he has become part of an online virtual football battle, which would allow the winner to land Nistelrooy for their Ultimate Team, signing a football legend in real life.
Nistelrooy, who is reportedly loosing the weight he gained from his supposed 'love of burgers and chips', spent five years as Manchester United's striker from 2001 to 2005, scoring 150 goals for Sir Alex Ferguson's side.
After Nistelrooy's five year contract ended at Old Trafford, the football star went to Real Madrid followed by Hamburger SV and finally to Malaga before retiring.
