American actor Sylvester Stallone, who is famous for his role in the Rocky series and the Rambo saga, returned to Goodison Park on Monday to encourage Everton supporters to cheer for the recording of scenes in an upcoming film.
Not even Stallone's half-time message on the big screens inspired Everton to record a win against West Bromwich Albion as they were held to a goalless draw.
The Hollywood actor, who is a fan of Everton, is set to repeat his role as a boxer 'Rocky' in 'Creed', co-starring champion boxer and Everton supporter Tony Bellew, the BBC reported.
Stallone claimed that he was an Everton fan back in 2007, after he attended a 1-1 draw with Reading.
Bellew, who stars in 'Creed', arranged for the filming to take place at Goodison Park. He said that he plays the pound-for-pound champion of the world and ends up facing Adonis Creed.
Bellew added that 'Rocky Balboa', played by Stallone, gets involved when he agrees to train Adonis, but claimed that if Adonis wants to be the champion, he has to go through him in the movie.
