Rolling Stones' Keith Richards still starts his mornings with 'weed'

Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards may be 71, but that doesn't mean he can't kick start his day by smoking cannabis.

During an interview, the musician revealed that though he had given up his other vices, and early morning joint, "Strictly Californian" was hard to move on from, the Mirror reported.

He said that it gave him immense pleasure to see the US map which highlights the States where cannabis is legal, as "green... green... green," however, he didn't really know if it was good thing in the long run.

Richards, who's has history of drug use, had claimed back in 2010 that he had "given up everything now".

He admitted that though he still drank, he was pretty straight other than that.

The rocker, who confirmed that there would be a new Stones album, also talked about his friendship with Mick Jagger saying that the front man was a bit jealous in the way that he didn't want to work with Richards all the time, but didn't want him to work anyone else, either.
