The Rolling Stones have resolved a dispute with insurers over coverage for the Australian and New Zealand concerts the band canceled after the suicide of Mick Jagger's girlfriend, L'Wren Scott.
According to the court filings, the insurers had rejected a nearly 12.7 million dollars claim which the band made under an insurance policy that covered cancellation of a tour due to the "sudden and unforeseen" deaths of the band members' loved ones, the New York Post reported.
A spokeswoman for Jagger said that the Rolling States had settled the insurance claim between the times that the court papers were filed and when it was first reported by a local newspaper.
The spokeswoman added that they are deeply upset that confidential medical and other private information about members of the band and their immediate family and loved ones has entered the public domain.
