Haas F1 team driver Romain Grosjean will pay homage to his late countryman Jules Bianchi in this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix by wearing a specially designed helmet celebrating the latter's ninth place finish at the same place in 2014.
Bianchi scored his own as well as his team's first ever World Championship points despite starting 21st on the grid at Monaco two years ago, news.com.au reported.
In fact, Bianchi finished ahead of Grosjean, who was then driving for Lotus, however a penalty dropped the former back a place.
Bianchi passed away at the age of 25 in July last year after sustaining brain injuries in a crash at the Japanese GP in 2014. He had been in coma since crashing his Marussia car into a recovery vehicle in wet conditions at Suzuka.
