Ronan Keating has confessed that while growing up, he saw himself as a rock band singer instead of boy band.

According to news.com.au, the Boyzone singer said that when he was 16 he wanted to be in bands like Oasis, Blur or U2 and as he grew older he decided not to take himself so seriously, the Mirror reported.

He added that the Boyzone members are his brothers now and they are all grown up men, and that it is not about the money but to enjoy being together.
