Wayne Rooney ended his goal-scoring drought in style as he scored a late header to help Manchester United secure a 1-0 win over CSKA Moscow and inch closer to a Champions League knockout stage spot.
After earning three-goalless draws, under-fire skipper Rooney scored the decisive goal as the Old Trafford club ended 404-minute goal drought in the 79th minute, Sport24 reported.
With the win, United have topped Group B with two games to spare and will next take on PSV Eindhoven to secure the knockout stage berth.
