Manchester United star Wayne Rooney has said that becoming a dad has changed his life 'completely'
Rooney, who is married to his childhood sweetheart Coleen Rooney, said that the responsibility that comes after becoming a parent is something that has really made him grow up and look at life in a totally different way.
According to the Mirror, the father of two sons, Kai, four and Klay, two, has said that before Kai was born the only responsibility he felt that he had was playing football.
However, Rooney added that he has still got the same 'hunger, passion and desire' for football that he has always had, but there is another big part of his life now that comes with being a husband and a father.
The United striker added that these days he loves to spend as much time as he can at home looking after his two lads and said that as a parent he has got a responsibility to set a good example not just for his kids, but for every kid that watches football.
Rooney, who takes Kai to football coaching sessions and will offer the same support to young Klay, said that Kai is a bit young yet to have a big interest in football, but the striker is sure that football is something the young Rooney would grow into, the report added.
