"Tushar, the child who died in the blast, was moving ahead of his two friends, who told us that when they turned back they saw that Tushar had picked up something in his hand from a garbage dump and continued to walk while playing with it, soon after which it exploded. When his two friends turned back again they saw Tushar lying on the floor and a severe explosion had taken place," said Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sweety Aggarwal.

"So far it hasn't been determined that what was it that exploded but we are assuming that it could be some old diffused bomb which the child had picked up and because he was shaking it so may be because the jerk it exploded," Aggarwal added.
