Rosie O'Donnell and her wife, Michelle Rounds, have split and therefore, she will quit 'The View' at the earliest to concentrate on her family's well-being.
Sources close to O'Donnell told the New York Post that she and Rounds have been living apart for months, and O'Donnell feels she must leave the ABC daytime show to focus on her five kids.
While confirming the split, Rosie's rep, Cindi Berger, asserted that she could confirm that the 52-year-old actress and her wife Rounds split in November, 2014 and the actress has teens and an infant at home that need her attention.
The rep added that this has been a very stressful situation and the actress is putting her personal health and family first and the network has been wonderfully understanding and supportive of her personal decision to leave 'The View.'
ABC said in a statement confirming O'Donnell's departure that the American actress is an immensely talented star who comes in each and every morning brimming with ideas, excitement and passion for the show and they respected her when she told them that she wanted to exit the show.
O'Donnell married her second wife Rounds in private in June 2012.
