RPF Personnel rescue ten-year-old Rashmi Nayak

A.K.Singh, a sub-inspector of the Railway Protection Force (RPF), on May 25 rescued a female child named Rashmi Nayak while making rounds of the Bhubaneswar railway station.

The girl is aged ten and is reported to have run away from her home. The matter was brought to the notice of Society for Children, an NGO.

After due verification, the rescued girl was handed over to Pankaj Ghadei, a team member of the NGO.

According to reports, the child is now in the Government shelter home in Bhubaneswar from where she will be handed over to her parents.
