The flying squad of Election Commission has seized Rs 5 lakh in cash and two air rifles from a vehicle during a checking at Thondamuthur road here on Thursday.
It is learnt that the money and air rifles were seized since they were kept without any valid documents. An investigation is on. Further details awaited.
