Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Kundan Chandrawat, who received flak for announcing bounty of Rs. One crore on anyone who can offer him Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, the former was on Friday removed from his responsibilities.

"Kundan who made controversial statement at Ujjain protest mtg has been relieved of his responsibility in RSS: Dr MM Vaidya," the RSS said in a tweet.

The RSS yesterday condemned the statement by Chandrawat saying, "The RSS doesn't subscribe to any views advocating violence and strongly condemn it. Attached statement is loud and clear", said RSS spokesperson Manmohan Vaidya in a statement.

On this raging issue, RSS ideologue Rakesh Sinha commenting on the controversial statement said that this was a wrong statement and won't be acceptable at all.

"We too condemn it and the language used is absolutely wrong," he added.

Chandrawat earlier in a public gathering in Ujjain said: "Three hundred pracharaks have been killed. Communists be warned, we will offer a garland of three lakh heads to Bharat Mata."

Aside from his statement, Chandrawat also announced a bounty of Rs. one crore on the Kerala Chief Minister's head.

"If anyone beheads the Kerala CM, who is the murderer of RSS activists, and brings his head I will bequeath my property worth more than Rs. one crore to him," he said.

When questioned, Chandrawat was unapologetic and said he stood by his comments.

Vijayan downplayed K. Chandrawat's threatening remark against him and said the right-wing group has taken heads of several people.

"Sangh Parivar has taken heads of several. But we are to travel na?" Vijayan told the media here.
