A day after crude bomb was hurled at Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) office in Kerala, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday hit out at the Kerala Government saying that it should ensure that politics of violence stop in the state.

"In Kerala for a very long time our organisation have been facing very violent and brutal politics of attack in which we have lost a large number of good 'workers'. Hundreds have been killed and hundreds have suffered grievous injuries at the hands of Marxist gundas. Ever since the Marxist party government came to power, the cycle of violence has increased its speed. Not a single week passes off without one of our party or Sangh Karyakarta (workers) getting murdered by the Marxist gundas," BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav told ANI.

Asserting that it was the state government's responsibility to maintain the law and order, Madhav said blame would be put clearly at the doorstep of the Marxist government for any violence and untoward incident.

"We need to put pressure on Kerala government to act and ensure that political violence stops in the state and the attacks on RSS and BJP come to an end," he added.

Earlier in the day, the RSS activists staged a protest in Hyderabad against the attack on their office in Kerala.

A crude bomb was hurled at the RSS office in Kallachy near Nadapuram last night.

At least three RSS workers sustained injuries in the attack and were rushed to the Government Medical College in Kozhikode.
