Joint General Secretary of the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS), Dattatreya Hosabale, said here today that the meeting between RSS and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), after the end of election campaigning was devoted to discussion of general issues.
The meeting was held at the office of RSS in New Delhi on Sunday.
BJP President Rajnath Singh was also present for the meeting along with other leaders including Bhaiyya Joshi and Suresh Soni of BJP's ideological mentor RSS.
After addressing his last rally at Ballia in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, BJP's prime ministerial nominee Narendra Modi also met RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat to review party's performance.
"There was a general discussion on how the campaign has been and on the atmosphere within the nation. It was a general affectionate family meeting. Rajnath came for a casual meeting and he got to meet many people after a long campaign," said Hosabale.
