A Russian helicopter with eight people on board has reportedly crashed into the sea off the coast of Norways's Arctic archipelago of Svalbard.
However, at the time of filing the story, there were no comments or reaction from the Russian officials on the incident so far.
Sputnik News agency quoted rescue service spokesman Tore Hongset as saying that two rescue boats and a helicopter were sent to the scene.
According to the report, the helicopter was en route from Barentsburg to a Russian settlement known as the Pyramid.
