Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev and his former wife Elena have finally reached a deal to settle their divorce, which had been dubbed the most expensive divorce in history.
In a joint statement, the duo, who has been battling for their divorce since 2008, said that the agreement on the terms of the divorce "puts an end to all legal procedures launched in different jurisdictions," News.com.au reports.
The court documents of Russian tycoon's wife claimed about lavish yacht parties, where her husband allegedly shared "young conquests with his friends and other oligarchs."
However, a court in Geneva in June this year overturned that ruling, downgrading the payment to 564 million francs, with two real estate holdings thrown in for good measure.
Elena, who was tired of the 48-year-old businessman's infidelities, had filed for divorce back in 2008 on the New Year's Eve.
Rybolovlev and Elena had met on their first day of university in the Russian city of Perm and had tied the knot in Cyprus and were together for 23 years.
