Twenty-one people have been killed in a fire in a psychiatric hospital in southern Russia, according to the Russian emergency ministry.
Russian emergency ministry spokesperson told that nineteen bodies were found at the site of the fire and two other people succumbed to their wounds at the hospital.
He said that 20 others, injured in the tragedy, are being treated at the hospital.
The fire broke out at the hospital in the village of Alferovka, in the region of Voronezh.
The cause that triggered the blaze is still being investigated, The Guardian reported.
The country has witnessed fire devastations earlier in 2013 when a number of people lost their lives in various fire accidents.
