American actor Ryan Hurst is the latest addition to season 9 of zombie drama 'The Walking Dead'.
The 42-year-old will be recurring the role of the villainous 'Beta', confirmed The Hollywood Reporter.
Brought up in a Hollywood family, Hurst made an early start in the showbiz with a recurring role in comedy series 'Saved by the bell: The new class'. His big break came when he was cast as Opie Winston in crime-drama series 'Sons of Anarchy', which also earned him the 2011 Satelite Award for Best Supporting Actor.
In the same year, Hurst also voiced Jedidiah in the animated box office hit 'Rango'.
'The Walking Dead' is an American television series about a group of survivors led by police officer Rick Grimes, who travel in search of a safe and secure home after a zombie apocalypse spreads across the USA.
The show's first season aired in 2010 and the most recent season came out in 2017. Season 9 is scheduled to release in October this year.
