'Deadpool' star Ryan Reynolds will be producing and also starring in Twentieth Century Fox's upcoming project 'Stoned Alone.'
The developing project is reminiscent of Fox's 1990 comedy 'Home Alone', an adventure comedy starring Macaulay Culkin as an 8-year-old boy who is accidentally left behind when his family leaves for a vacation in France.
Augustine Frizzell, who directed the comedy 'Never Goin' Back' has been signed to direct the much-anticipated film, reported the Hollywood Reporter.
At present, Reynolds is busy prepping for his upcoming mystery comedy film 'Detective Pikachu', in which he stars as the titular yellow electric sleuth.
Directed by Rob Letterman and written by Nicole Perlman and Letterman, the flick is based on the video game of the same name.
The film is slated to hit the theatres on May 10, next year.
