Elton John has expressed his sadness over the gay laws in Russia and has urged the country to end discrimination against gays during his performance at a concert in Moscow.
The British singer said that he was "sad to learn" of a law banning the "propaganda of homosexuality' to minors, the BBC reported.
John interrupted his show saying that in his opinion it is inhumane and isolating.
Earlier both Madonna and Lady Gaga voiced their concerns through concerts in Saint Petersburg regarding a similar local legislation.
