Salman Khan's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' gets legal notice for Adnan's qawali

EMI Pakistan has send a legal notice to Salman Khan's upcoming movie 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' claiming that it's recently released song 'Bhar Do Jholi' by Adnan Sami didn't acquire the rights from them to use the popular qawali.

The legal notice served to Salman, director Kabir Khan and to various stakeholders of the song, reads like that though they were proud that a Pakistani song was being liked and reproduced across the border, but it was equally important for them to preserve their rights and uphold their commercial interests to ensure that deserving artists get the rightful remuneration for their creation, the Express Tribune reported.

The legal document also mentioned that EMI Pakistan possesses all the necessary documents which manifest the exclusive legal right.

The Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer movie is all set to get release in India on July 17 2015.
