Sand artist Patnaik marks 69th Independence Day with unique creation on Puri beach

Sand artist Sudarshan Patnaik created a unique sculpture on the shore of the Puri beach in Odisha on the occasion of India's 69th Independence Day.

Paying tribute to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Patnaik created a tricolor with a message of peace, freedom and democracy.

"I like it very much, just discovered that it's India's Independence Day, and I think, it's beautiful and really nice. Happy Independence day India, Jai Hind," said a French tourist.
