Sandra Bullock may play the role of 'Miss Hannigan' if the makers of the 'Annie' remake agree.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the actress could play the character of the mean lady who runs the orphanage inhabited by Annie and her pals in movie, starring Jamie Foxx and Oscar nominee Quvenzhane Wallis.
The 'Miss Congeniality' star had refused the initial offer in March, but is again considering the role.
Sony is making the update of the classic comic strip-turned-musical along with a host of producers like Will Smith and his Overbrook Entertainment partners James Lassiter and Jada Pinkett-Smith.
Jay-Z, Jay Brown and Tyran 'Ty Ty' Smith through Marcy Media are also involved in the production of the movie.
Will Gluck will be directing the project, which starred Carol Burnett in the 1982 film version of the movie.
The flick is slated for a 2014 release.
