Wicketkeeper-batsman Sarfraz Ahmed will lead the 13-man squad for the one-off T20 international against England, which is to be held at Old Trafford on September 7.

It will be Ahmed's first match as T20 captain after he was named as Shahid Afridi's replacement in April following the World T20 debacle in India.

The uncapped duo of Babar Azam and Ammad Butt have also been named in the squad and they are likely to make their T20 debuts in Manchester.

Sohail Tanvir, who made his last T20 appearance against England in November 2015, has been recalled to face the England T20 side, Sport24 reported.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan selectors have once again overlooked the troublesome pair of Ahmed Shazad and Umar Akmal for the only T20 match.

The Pakistan T20I squad is as follows:

Sarfraz Ahmed (captain), Khalid Latif, Sharjeel Khan, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam, Mohammad Nawaz, Imad Wasim, Mohammad Amir, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Irfan, Sohail Tanvir, Ammad Butt.
