Bayern Munich football team boss Pep Guardiola has made his career intentions clear, claiming that he plans to stay with the German champions next season as he is very satisfied with his squad there despite a string of injuries as they chase three titles.
Guardiola, who has a contract until 2016, won the domestic double in his first season and Bayern are again on course for the title this season, 10 points clear at the top with six matches left, and are also through to the German Cup last four.
However, their Champions League hopes suffered a major setback on Wednesday when they lost 3-1 at Porto in the quarter-final first leg with injuries piling up, Sport24 reported.
The Spaniard said that he is very satisfied there with the players and wants to fight more than ever, adding that he would of course want to stay there next year.
Guardiola said this in context of the the sudden departure of Bayern's long-time miracle team doctor Hans-Wilhelm Mueller-Wohlfahrt, who left after 38 years in his post saying that his medical team had been blamed for the defeat in Portugal.
