The Supreme Court on Thursday dismissed a petition seeking stay on the release of actor Aamir Khan's film 'P.K'.

The apex court maintained that any restrictions on release of film would affect constitutional right of film makers.

The court further directed that there was no compulsion on anyone to see the movie if they did not like it.

The movie attracted controversy after Khan released a first look poster of the film, where he is seen in a nude avatar, covering his modesty with a transistor.

A petition was filed by the All India Human Rights and Social Justice Front, which claimed that 'PK' promotes nudity.

The petitioner made Aamir Khan and director Rajkumar Hirani parties in the case in addition to the Centre and the Information and Broadcasting Ministry.
