Actor Robert Loggia, who is known for playing drug kingpin Frank Lopez in the film 'Scarface,' has passed away at the age of 85.
In a recent statement, the 'Big' actor's wife Audrey said Loggia had been battling with Alzheimer's for the last five years, adding that things became worse and the actor died suddenly at his home, TMZ.com reports.
She also revealed that she and her daughter Cynthia were at Robert's bedside when he passed away.
Audrey also pointed out that the late actor was an "awesome husband and an awesome father."
Loggia was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for flick 'Jagged Edge' for his portrayal of blunt private detective Sam Ransom.
His other films include 'Revenge of the Pink Panther,' 'Trail of the Pink Panther,' 'Curse of the Pink Panther,' 'Over The Top,' 'Necessary Roughness,' 'Return to Me' and 'Armed and Dangerous.
