Pakistan's former captain and legendary all-rounder Imran Khan has slammed his country's cricket team's ODI series defeat to Bangladesh, describing the 3-0 whitewash as 'unimaginable'.
The Azhar Ali-led team suffered a complete whitewash following an eight-wicket defeat to a proficient Bangladesh side in Dhaka on Wednesday.
Reflecting on the team's performance, Imran said that he never thought Pakistan would lose to Bangladesh 3-0 and drop to number eight in the ODI Rankings, the Dawn reported.
Accusing the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) of nepotism, Imran further said that the country's cricket would not improve as long as there are people in the cricket board who have come through without any merit.
Although the legendary cricketer claimed that no country in the world has cricketing talent as good as Pakistan, the ongoing crisis illustrates how poor the system of cricket has become in Pakistan.
