As stricken Formula One legend Michael Schumacher continues his painfully slow recovery at his Swiss lakeside home, his wife Corinna has reportedly sold off the ace driver's 25 million pound worth private jet and a holiday home in Norway.
The Daily Star reports Corinna has accepted the racer would never fully recover to enjoy them again.
The sale of the home and the private jet has reportedly been seen as further proof that the former star of the world's racetracks would not be going anywhere soon.
A German newspaper observed that Corinna knows that her husband requires care and therapy around the clock, adding that as a woman, Corinna is alone in a golden empire.
Schumacher suffered severe head injuries on December 29, 2013 when he smashed his head on to hidden rocks while skiing in the French resort of Meribel.
The Formula One legend spent months in a coma, a short spell in a Swiss clinic and, since September last year, has been cared for by a staff of 15 specialists at a medical suite crafted from rooms at his 35-million-pound mansion in Gland, Switzerland.
